Make safe operator decisions

Fictional scenario: Northstar Demo has opportunities with no owner and missing next steps. Before changing automation, ask who owns the pipeline and what each stage means.

Start with a small, reversible change. Record the before state, assign the responsible owner, set a meaningful next step and verify the after state. Never launch real outreach from a training sandbox.

Learning completion means you completed the lesson. Assessment approval means a reviewer has checked evidence of your competence. These are different outcomes.

Key takeaways
  1. 1. Clarify ownership before changing automation.
  2. 2. Use reversible steps and verify the outcome.
  3. 3. Reviewed evidence, not activity volume, determines graduation.
