Is it really free?
Yes. Courses, live lectures, checks and Workbench labs are free. You pay only when you book a certificate exam.
Do I need a Workloom account?
You use one Workloom account everywhere: the app, University and Partners. If you don’t have one, joining University makes it. If you already use Workloom, sign in with the same account and your workspace links itself.
Can labs reach real people?
No. Labs and exams run in a sandbox copy of Workloom with fictional data. It has no email, phone, LinkedIn or WhatsApp connection at all, so nothing can leave it.
Why do labs and exams need a laptop?
The sandbox is a full copy of Workloom and needs a bigger screen; exams also need a webcam, your entire screen shared and full screen. Everything else works on a phone.
How is the exam proctored?
Your camera, microphone and entire screen are recorded for the review and deleted after 90 days. A person reviews the practical; they never see your name.
Can I get a refund?
In full, within the refund window, as long as you haven’t started an exam. Go to Account › Exams and receipts.
How do I check a certificate?
Anyone can, at university.useworkloom.com/verify, with the certificate ID.
